The client’s objectives and expectations

Development of a master plan for the energy transition at the Aéroports de Paris platforms of Roissy – Charles de Gaulle, aimed at identifying the main achievable areas for improvement (2025-2030).

Our main missions

  • Analysis of current and future energy needs,

Simulation of the integration of multiple pieces of equipment according to different scenarios:

  • Scenario 1: ThermoFrigoPump 8 MW (cold and heat production) + existing 3 MW wood boiler condenser + 12 MW biomass boiler plant,
  • Scenario 2: 10 MW Geothermal,
  • Evaluation of investment and operating costs,
  • Study of available subsidies,
  • Proposed financing plan,
  • Economic and legal structuring of projects.

Project specifications

  • ADP (Aéroport De Paris) covers about 10% of its heat needs with renewable energies (biomass boiler plant).
  • Assumptions on the evolution of the site’s energy needs (in collaboration with ADP and Dalkia).
  • Forecasting changes in CO2 price per ton and gas prices.

Results obtained

  • Identification of the main areas for improvement achievable during the 2025-2030 period.
  • Simulation of the integration of multiple equipment according to different scenarios.
  • Proposal of strategic energy solutions for the energy transition.
