Our goal was to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Our main missions
The university site is currently powered by fossil fuels, including a 4.3 MWe gas turbine and a boiler. The goal is to decarbonize the site, either by installing a 4 MW biomass boiler or by connecting to the city of Rennes’ district heating network, supplied by an incineration plant and biomass.
Project characteristics:
- 4 MW biomass boiler plant,
- District heating network,
- 1.5 km substation.
Results obtained
The project is currently under negotiation.
